This is an abandoned cemetery with burial dates from the mid 1800's to the last known burial in 1911.
It is located in a field along hwy 18 through Diaz, Jackson Co. There are only 13 recorded burials here with only 3 legible markers remaining.
Some of the headstones have been removed and placed in other cemeteries with the families, but only the headstones were removed. Those listed here are still interred in this cemetery and this information is noted on their replacement stones. Those known to be removed are JA and Sarah Schnable (Chinn Springs Cemetery, Independence Co) and Charles Minor (Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jackson Co).
