Laura was married first to Samuel Hiram Sharp, son of Ephraim Edmond and Melissa Evelyn Saffell Sharp. Samuel and Laura were married 15 Oct 1911. Samuel died 21 Feb 1912. He is buried in the Sharp Family Homeplace Cemetery.
Laura was 17 when she married Samuel. She married W Clint Allan 28 Jul 1915 and she was 21 and Clint was 30. Laura and Clint had 5 known childrin: Geneva C Allen, Wilbur C Allen, Ada L Allen, Robert Allen, and Veldariy
