PRIVATE COLLINS' BODY RETURNED
The body of Private Forrest Collins, 32 year old resident of Natural Dam, Arkansas, who was killed October 17, 1944, in battle at Manila, will arrive at the Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren late Wednesday.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the New Liberty Cemetery near Odell, Arkansas with Rev. Norman Ferguson, assistant pastor of the First Baptist Church in Fort Smith, and Rev. Glenn Dipboye, officiating.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. M.J. Collins, Odell, Arkansas, five brothers, Roy, Hiram, Edgar and Jonathan of Odell; and Ewell of Centralla, Washington; and two sisters, Mrs. Lela Honer (or Hones), Odell, and Mrs. Sylvia Tibbit, Evansville, Indiana.
