Husband of Martha A Blair Billingslay who is buried at Marystown Cemetery in Cleburne, TX.
Born Guilford Co, North Carolina
His was the first burial in this cemetery. John died at Morrow a few miles south of Cane Hill, on the night the contingent of settlers reached the place where they were to make their homes.
