H. Guy Alexander

H. Guy Alexander, age 92 of Flippin, passed from this life on Friday, October 17 at his home. He was a son of the late Ira and Mary (Tatum) Alexander and was born in Almond, Arkansas on September 15, 1916. He and his wife, Doris (Barber), moved to the area in 1966 having come from the Little Rock area and he worked in the construction industry as a home builder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy; one of the founders of Citizens Bank; member of Marion County Farm Bureau, Marion County Equalization Board and the Flippin Airport Commission.

Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife, Doris of the home and one sister, Maeble Steczysyn of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, H. H. Alexander; and one sister, Pauline Collard.

Graveside services are to be held on Monday, October 20 at Flippin Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Fox, Steve deLinde, Mark deLinde, Mark Mallett, Jim Gunn, Randy Hopper and Jerry White. Honorary pallbearer is Vernon Parker. There will be no visitation.
