February 24, 1897 - March 31, 1947
Bruce Poindexter, aged 45, died Monday night in the State Sanatorium at Booneville. He is survived by two brothers, Carl and Dawson; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Speaker and Mrs. Hector Wesson, all of Stephens. Funeral services and burial were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bethesda Cemetery, with Rev. Homer Gentry officiating. Mathis Funeral Home in charge. (Camden News - April 3, 1947)
