1905 - July 16, 1973
Robert Lawrence Adams, 67, of Rt. 1, Camden, died Monday morning in a local hospital. He was a retired steelworker, and a Methodist. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel, with burial in Adams Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Adams is survived by a son, Robert L. Adams, Jr. of Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Laverne Kingsbury of Shreveport, La.; one brother, Albert Adams of Batesville; four sisters, Mrs. Etta Merritt and Mrs. Stella Ketchum both of Chidester, Mrs. Gladys Vestal of Strong and Mrs. Mildred Hebert of Benton, La.; eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
