Services Held For Charley Ray Estes
Charley Ray Estes, age 60, of Brockwell, Arkansas died Sept. 2, 1966 near his home.
Mr Estes had been a resident of Izard County all his life and was a Methodist. His father was the late Henry Estes.
Survivors include his wife, Eve Yancey Estes; two sons, Charles Estes and John Estes both of Wenatchee, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Murriel Estes Collier of Wenatchee, Wash.; four grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Leota Estes; one brother, B. B. Estes of Flagstaff, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Reynolds of Heber, Ariz.; and Mrs. Irene Sartin of Medford, Oregon.
Funeral services were held at the Violet Hill Baptist Church Tuesday September 6, 1966 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Hugh Cooper and Bro. G. W. Howard officiating.
Burial was in the Violet Hill Cemetery with McCallum Funeral Home in Charge.
Pallbearers were Victor Estes, Billy Estes, J. C. Moore, Joe Koury, Leon Russell and Charles Russell.
