Julia L. Bjork, age 100, of Yellville, passed away in the Marion County Nursing Home in Yellville on Sunday February 20, 2010. Julia was born in Charleston, Washington on July 6, 1909. She was the daughter of the late Axel and Mary (Johnson) Aberhamson. Julia was a member of the Yellville 1st Assembly of God Church.
Mrs. Bjork is survived by Her daughter: Mary Guitierrez of Yellville, Arkansas; Her son: David W. Bjork of British Columbia, Canada. Julia is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, 2 sisters and one great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Graveside services will be conducted at the Mountain View Cemetery near Flippin, Arkansas on Tuesday February 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Steve Martin officiating.
