Funeral services for Mr. James Lawrence Wells, age 82 of Mountain Home will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Noel Moore officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6-8:00 p.m. at the Roller Funeral Home. Mr. Wells passed away November 28, 2005 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.

James Lawrence Wells was born October 1, 1923 in Mammoth Spring, AR to David William and Ima Pearl (Huff) Wells. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII and the Korean War. He married Berniece Stafford May 15, 1961 in Mountain Home. Mr. Wells was a butcher. He was a member of the Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church and he enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Berniece Wells; son: Mike Wells (Nicole) of Mountain Home; Daughter: Rhonda Evans (Larry) of Mountain Home; Brother: Raymond Wells (Mary) of Mountain Home; Daughter-in-law: Cindy Wells of Mountain Home; five grandchildren: Ashley, Jessica, Quinton, Isaac and William. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Scott Wells and three brothers.

Memorials may be made to the Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.

Arrangements are by the Roller Funeral Home.
