Death Claims Jim Slagley At Zinc
Funeral services were conducted last Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Jaybird Church by the Rev. Hugh Cooper for Jim Slagley, aged 60, farmer of Zinc who died suddenly last Wednesday morning at his home about 7:30 a.m., while preparing breakfast.
Slagley made his home with a brother. Coroner Norman Andrews said no inquest was necessary and death was attributed to a heart attack.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert Slagley of Lead Hill and Frank Slagley of Zinc, one sister, Mrs. Margaret Ann Kelley of Harrison: one daughter, Annie Lou Slagley of Harrison.
Interment was made in the Jaybird Cemetery.
