Alton Albritton, 63, of Lake Village died Wednesday,
October 4, 2006, at his residence. Born November 21, 1952, in Lake Providence, LA, to Randall and Marjorie Taylor Albritton, he retired after 41 years as a bread salesman for Interstate Brands. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a member of Lake Providence Bass Club, Barnes Hunting Club at Snyder and the Bayou Mason Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Warren Albritton of Lake Village; two sons, Michael Albritton and wife Karla and Mitchell Albritton and wife Barbara, all of Monticello; three brothers, Leon Albritton of Kilbourne, LA, Floyd Albritton of Broken Arrow, OK, and Loyd Albritton of Abilene, TX; three sisters, Marie Stewart of Alexandria, LA, Velma Weatherford of Orange, TX, and Sue Cox of Friendswood, TX; five grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Sarah, Dana and Alicia Albritton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 6, at 2 p.m. at Bayou Mason Baptist Church with Revs. Alton Hollingsworth and Kyle Bryan officiating. Burial was at Bayou Mason Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society,
Bayou Mason Baptist Church of Gideons International.
