Funeral services for Mr. Charlie L. Stroup, age 73 of Mountain Home will be 5:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Stroup passed away September 21 at his residence.
Mr. Charlie L. Stroup was born June 24, 1932 in New Castle, Indiana. He married Capatola “Cappie” Jackson. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Stroup was a retired paper broker who now enjoyed working at the Wal-Mart in Flippin. Charlie and Cappie moved to Mountain Home 20 years ago from Portland, OR. Mr. Stroup enjoyed flowers, birds, photography and he was an avid reader.
Mr. Charlie L. Stroup is survived by his wife Capatola “Cappie” Stroup of the home; Son: Casey Stroup (Julie) of Cotter; Daughters: Theresa Allen (Lemuel) of Gainesville, MO and Cathy Stroup of Indiana; Step-Son: Mike (Debbie) Reaves of Mountain Home; Grandchildren: Estle (Rhonda) Reaves, Stephanie (Matt) Dement, Dalton Marler-Stroup, Grace, Glory and Charlie Stroup and one great grandson, Cole Reaves.
