Ivey Hodge, age 59, of Mountain Home, died Thursday, September 2, 2004, at St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. He was born July 5, 1945, in Sumter, South Carolina, to Alton and Mildred Hodge. On July 21, 1967, he married Susan Birch in Charleston, Illinois, and moved to Mountain Home 27 years ago.
Mr. Hodge was a line superintendent for the Mountain Home office of North Arkansas Electric Cooperative. He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife: Susan K. Hodge: of the Home; 1 son: Joseph A. (Christine) Hodge: Clinton Township, Michigan; 7 Brothers: Ronnie, Donnie, Lloyd, Pat, Hayward, Norman and Paul: all of South Carolina; 4 sisters: Joyce, Deborah, Rubilee and Cecille: all of South Carolina; 2 grandsons: Jeff and Mike; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Wayne.
