Richard Clayton Brown, 52, of Melbourne died Saturday, June 17, 2006, near Pineville. Born April 16, 1954, in Kokomo, Ind., he was the son of Leroy Melvin Brown and Madge Stevens Brown. He was a truck driver, worked in many sheriffs’ offices in the area and was employed by the Arkansas Department of Correction at the north-central unit in Calico Rock. He was a member of BUBBA, a local motorcycle club. Survivors include a son, Timothy Leroy Brown of Melbourne; three brothers, Jim Brown of Charlotte, Tenn., Bob Brown of Batesville and Ed Brown of Melbourne; a sister, Karen Watts of Zion; and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. today at Caney Springs Cemetery in Sage. Arrangements were by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Pallbearers were members of the BUBBA Motorcycle Club.
