Miss Maggie Jane Whitfield, 80, of Norfork died Sunday at a local nursing home. She was a lifetime resident of Baxter County and a Methodist.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Galatia Methodist Church, east of Norfork, with Rev Gene Davis of Calico Rock officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Smith Service.
Pallbearers were Vero Hall, Bob Fuller, R.C. Parnell, Everette Parnell, Mike Hall and Gene Adams.
The daughter of Jackson Whitfield and Lizzie McCarley Whitfield, Miss Whitfield was born in Baxter County April 9, 1891.
She is survived by a sister Mrs. Rosean Parnell, and a brother, Robert Whitfield both of Norfork.
