Dr. Kenneth Dewayne George, 44, of Forrest City, formerly of Swifton, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was born December 29, 1964 at Newport. He married Miss Rebecca Lanelle "Becky" Lloyd on December 1, 1984.
Dr. George graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in April, 1997. After graduation, he and his family made their home in the Forrest City and Wynne areas. Dr. George established the George Chiropractic Clinic at Wynne where he and his wife, Becky, worked side by side. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda (Pridmore) Jones; his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Pearline (Wheeler) George; and his parents-in-law, Troy Mac and Jackie Lea (Counts) Lloyd.
Dr. George is survived by his wife, Rebecca Lanelle "Becky" Lloyd of the home; two sons, Kenneth Dereck George of Jonesboro and Anthony Drew George of Memphis, Tennessee; his father and step-mother, Kenneth Ray and Mary (Cowell) George of Swifton; one brother, Ryan Thor George of Swifton; one sister, Tonya Lynn Harris of Swifton; and his maternal grandmother, Melba Pridmore of Newport.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Stranger's Home Cemetery at Alicia.
Pallbearers will be Lane Smith, Robert Slagley, Todd Hulett, Mark Butler, Lewis Peeler, and Andy Foust.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Wheeler, Palmer Herrington, Robert Meyers, Tom Kill, Barry Hulett, and Shannon Norris.
