Oct 18, 1861 in Izard County, Arkansas.
He was the son of Benjamin and Mary E. Fowler Jones. He married Anna Butler Oct 1822. He and most of his family migrated by ox wagon from Murray County, Georgia to Izard County, Arkansas in the fall of 1859.
This is one stone with the names of Smith, Anna and James Hamilton on each side.
Smith is buried to the right of the stone, Anna in the middle and James to the left. Both Smith and James have small stones with their initials on it.
