Bernice M. Durbano, age 68, of Mountain Home, died Saturday, December 18, 2004. She was born October 18, 1936, to Dominic Jack and Bernice May Stuart Durbano. Miss Durbano was a retired secretary and had served for 5 years as the cook and housekeeper at St. Peter's Rectory. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. She moved to Mountain Home in 1992 from Decatur, Alabama.
She is survived by 2 brothers: Dwight (Jean) Goodman: Hardy, Arkansas, and Roy Durbano: Detroit, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters and 1 brother.
A Requiem Mass will be at 12:00 Noon today (Monday) at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Kenneth Fryar as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of the Good Shepherd in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Masses. Roller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
