This appears to be a stone in memory of family members of Chocktaw "Chock" Clinton Burgess, Sr., a prominnt figure in Jackson County history. Rosa L. Deaton was his first wife. They married Feb 08, 1888 in Jackson County, Arkansas. Lillie, Alvin and Ada were 3 of their 7 known (to me at least) children. I can only guess that they also lost several infants. However, Hazel Burgess Davis was daughter of Chock and his second wife, Amanda Elizabeth Gann.
Hazel Burgess Davis was born Jun 19, 1907, and died Mar 05, 1936.
Ada Burgess Clark was born April 1898 and died Feb 07, 1928.
