Jonesboro - John Paul Jones, 59, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015, at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born on January 19, 1956 in Walnut Ridge to John Max and Jolene Worlow Jones. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Newport.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Jolene Worlow Jones.
Survivors include: his father, John Max Jones and step-mother, Kathy, of Harrisburg; step-sisters, Kelley (Barney) McCoy and Kasey (Zane) Gehring; niece, Lindley Gehring; nephew, A.J. McCoy. and Worlow aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation for Mr. Jones will be Sunday from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm with Tom Lamb officiating. Burial will be at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeff Worlow, Randy Worlow, Mitch Worlow, Barney McCoy, A.J. McCoy, and Zane Gehring.
Honorary pallbearers will be: David Stewart, Steve Clark, Uncle Bob Jones, Uncles John, Glen, Jerry, and David Worlow, Aunt Tommie Jean Worlow, nursing home family at Ridgecrest Nursing Center, and friends at Jonesboro Human Development Center.
