McCRORY -- Glen Edward Morris, 68, of McCrory died Saturday, Oct. 15, at Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy. Born at Finley, Okla., he attended school in Hugo, Okla., and was an employee of Coca-Cola Co. in Little Rock. He was of the Assembly of God faith. Survivors include his wife, Iris Fowler Morris of the home; three brothers, Kenneth Morris of Black Springs, Claude Morris of Caddo Gap and William Morris of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and two sisters, Cledis Standridge of Mount Ida and Della Mae Ramer of Trinity, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ester Hinsley Morris. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in McCrory, with the Rev. Walter Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Pumpkin Bend Cemetery near McCrory. Active pallbearers will be Paul Fowler, Johnny Price, Clarence Shinault, Wayne Shinault, Bobby Stokes and Damon King. The Rev. John Best will serve as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Pumpkin Bend Cemetery in care of Johnny Browning, McCrory, Ark. 72101.
