BELLA VISTA — William "Bill" Rogers, 66, of Bella Vista died Sept. 21, 1999, at Bella Vista. He was born Sept. 19, 1933, in Nashville, Tenn., to Samuel and Clara Haury Rogers. He and his wife moved to Bella Vista nine years ago from Oklahoma City, Okla.

He was a member of the United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista, the United Lutheran golf group, the Men's 18-Hole Golf Association and was an aviator in the Navy. He worked in sales and marketing at Levi-Strauss and Co.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Rogers of Bella Vista, to whom he was married 44 years; two sons, William Edward Rogers Jr. of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and John Kelly Rogers of Santa Fe, N.M.; two daughters, Stephanie E. Zornes of St. Louis, Mo., and Joni C. Wilkerson of Lawrence, Kan.; one sister, Barbara Young of Savannah Lakes, S.C.; five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Single Parents Scholarship Fund, 3311 Southwest "I", Suite 9, Bentonville, 72712, or the Mother to Mother Ministry, 608 Southwest "A", P.O. Box 2082, Bentonville, 72712.
