Stone reads "Wife of G.W. Bittle". The heading of the stone reads "To My Wife...". The inscription on the stone reads: "Dearest mother, thou hast left us. And our sorrow we deeply feel. But 'tis God that has bereft us. He can all our sorrows heal".
