POTTS CAMP, Miss. — Hildon Lee Statler, 60, of Potts Camp died Friday, March 29, at the Alliance Health Care System in Holly Springs, Miss.

Born at Egypt, he was a heavy equipment mechanic, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his wife, Miren Statler of the home; three sons, Eugene Statler and Lyndon Roy Statler, both of Taft, Calif., and Brian Statler of Springfield; one daughter, Betty Tafoya of Taft; two brothers, Joel Ewing and Frank Foster, both of California; four sisters, Judy Kaylor, Joyce Ramos and Shirley Bodirsky, all of California, and Jo Ann O'Neal of Jonesboro; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be noon Thursday at Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie with the Rev. Jim Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in Auldridge Cemetery near Sedgwick.

Pallbearers will be Y.D. Whitehurst, Stacey Whitehurst, Steve Whitehurst, Bo Hilburn, Darrell Snedeker, and Gary Cook.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
