William L. England was born September 17, 1878, at Lanton, MO and departed this life May 3, 1967 at Globe, AZ, at the age of 80 year, 7 months and 16 days.
He was married to Nettie Belle Dunkerson and to this union were born 10 children. His wife preceded him in death.
Surviving are five sons; Wayne, Troy and Otha, all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Doyle and Otis of Globe, AZ; five daughters, Eunice Isaac of Seattle, WA, Lois Mocooer of Shawnee, OK, Flocie Brewer of Caraway, AR, Retter McKee of Young AZ and Lula Reeves of ????.
Other survivors include two brothers, John of West Plains, MO and Joe of Wichita, KS; two sisters, Mrs. Samantha Sigler of ?, AR, and Mrs. Sarah Erwin of Fort Scott, KS; thirty-two grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. England was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 8, at 2PM at the Fairview Methodist Church with Rev. Melton officiating. Pallbearers were, J.F. Duncan, Alfred Pance, Bill Buchanan, Marion Buchanan, Ralph Harris and Don London.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Service of Salem.
