Mr. Charles Vernon Brock, age 58, of Norfork passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2009, at his home. Charles was born January 24, 1951, in Terre Haute, IN, to Charles Henry and Goldie (Dickerson) Brock. He loved fishing and hunting for mushrooms.
Mr. Charles Vernon Brock is survived by 2 daughters, Samantha (Clarence)Simpson of Norfork and Christy (John) McDonald of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Ariel, Jessica, Jamie and Kayla; 5 sisters, Brenda, Lucille, Marian, Millie and Tanna; 4 brothers, Ed, Tug, David and Kenny; several nieces and nephews and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Patricia.
Visitation for Mr. Brock will be noon-9PM Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 5-7PM. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Friday at Galatia Assembly of God with Pastor Larry Thomas officiating. burial will be in Galatia Cemetery.
