Died June 9, 1987, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of Nicholas & Eliza Jane Mathias.

Nicolas K. Mathias, 84, of Norfork died June 9, at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was a 30-year resident of the area. He had been in automotive construction for General Motors.
Mr. Mathias was born Feb 14, 1903 at New York, NY to Eliza Jane and Nicholas Mathias. He is survived by one sister, Elizabeth K. Shipley of Chicago, IL and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was June 12, at Roller Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Middleton officiating. Burial was at Galatia Cemetry. Pallbearers were Jerry Parnell, Wilson Chapman, Lloyd Sweet and Sid Skidmore.
