Born McPhearson, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Died Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas.
Son of George Bennett Alexander and Mary Beulah Havner Alexander.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and was a Mason in the Kansas City lodge.

Harold Bertney Alexander, 58, a lifelong resident of Mt. Home, died last Wednesday at the Calico Rock Medical Center.
Mr. Alexander, a heavy equipment operator, was born Oct 19, 1922, at McPherson, the son of the late George Bennett and Mary Beulah Havner Alexander. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Alexander was a member of the Mt. Home Moose Lodge and was a Mason with the Kansas City Lodge.
Survivors include one son, Harold Dean Alexander of Mt. Home; three daughters, Tina Lynn Alexander of Gassville, Carolyn Leuenhagen of Bigelow and Donn Smith of Little Rock; three brothers, Gene Alexander, Louis Alexander and Ross Alexander, all of Norfork; four sister, Iva Parnell, Viola Sisk and Ilene Whiteaker, all of Norfork, and Ethel Henderson of Picher, OK; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Friday at the First Baptist church of Norfork with the Rev Forest Bynaum officiating. Burial was in the Galatia Cemetery under the direction of foller funeral Home. Masonic graveside services were performed by the Norfork Masonic Lodge. Pallbearers were Carl King, Donnie Sisk, Keith Parnell, Trent Alexander, Brent Alexander and Tom Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers wer Elmer Reynolds, Richard Smith, Vero Hall, Clyde Southard, Wayne Hager and Alvin Reynolds.
