MARSHALL-- Olen Arlis Sutterfield, 78, of Marshall died Monday (May 18, 1998) at Marshall.
He was born November 25, 1919, at Big Flat and was married to Thelma Sutterfield. He was a farmer and World War II Army veteran.
Surviviors are his wife, Thelma Sutterfield, of Marshall; one son, Arlis Sutterfield of Harriet; two stepsons, James T. Taylor of Missouri and George Brown of Mt. View; five daughers, Regina McKinney, Nancy Posey and Edna Sutterfield of Marshall, Barbara Burgess of Calico Rock and Alma Paxton of Summit; one step daughter, Etta Lou Wilson of Calico Rock; one sister Marie Roberts of Gassville; 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be 10AM today at Old Galatia Church in Norfork with Clifton and Dickie Downs officiating.
Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork
Pallbearers will be James Paxton, Lee Posey, Paul McKinney, Doug Wilson, David Burgess and Troy Lawson.
Honorary pallbeares are James Baker and Tommy McKinney.
Arrangements were made by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall.
