Kendall and Darlene married 10 Aug 1942. He the son of John Crown Foushee and Selita Belle (Cochran) Foushee. Darlene the daughter of Lawrence Utah Harris and Lillie May (Richey) Harris.

Kendall E. Foushee, 83, of Cave City, died Dec. 18, 2003, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. Born Aug. 1, 1920, at Strawberry, Ark., he was the son of John and Belle Cochran Foushee. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Smithville Masonic Lodge and retired from the Rock Island Railroad.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Foushee of the home; a son, Wesley Foushee of Cave City; a sister, Elaine Huskey of Trumann; two grandsons -- Keith Foushee of Newark and Jason Foushee of Harrison; a granddaughter, Melanie Straub of Harrison; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, two brothers and three sisters.

The funeral was Dec. 20 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Keith Martin officiating. Burial followed in Ward Cemetery at Strawberry with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were Dexter Hardin, Jim Furnish, Charles, Gurin, Bobby Smithee, William Downs, Keith Foushee and Jason Foushee.

Honorary pallbearers were Jim Clark and Tom Penn.
