Dick Oxford, 81, of Gravette died Thursday, November 20, at the Gravette Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1905 in Goshen, Ark., the son of Willis and Aquilla White Oxford.
He was a farmer, member of the Assembly of God Church in Gravette, and had lived in the Gravette area most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Eula May, of the home; two sons, Jackie Oxford and Russell Oxford of Gravette, and one daughter, Joyce Ann Thibodeaux of Centerton; 5 step-children, Dean Robinson of Oroville, Wa., Louise White of Springdale, Kenneth Robinson of Gravette, Velma Harp of Bentonville and Sharon Kirch of Darby, KS., and one brother, Sherman Oxford of Gravette; 33 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Graveside services were held Monday, November 24, at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Austin officiating. Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Gravette was in charge of arrangements.
