Died September 10, 1966, Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas.
Son of Samuel N. and Martha Parrish Rosenbum.
Husband of Sarah Susan King Rosenbaum.

(George Washington Rosenbaum's parents and some of the earlier generations of the family spelled their name Rosenbum. Beginning with George Washington's generation, the family generally pronounced the name as if it were Rosenbum, but spelled it Rosenbaum.)

George Washington Rosenbaum, 85, of Crystal Springs (Garland Coutny) died Monday at a Hot Springs hospital. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist church, and had resided in the Norfork area for a number of years before moving to Garland County 18 years ago.
Funeral services were held at 11AM Wednesday at the Norfork Baptist Church with Rev. Edgar Griffin of Norfork officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, near Norfork, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Mr. Rosenbaum was born in Howell County, MO on January 6, 1881, the son of Samuel and Martha Parrish Rosenbaum.
Srviving are his wife Mrs. Sarah Rosenbaum, of Crystal Springs; two sons, Paul of Independece, MO and Eunice Rosenbaum of Bismark; nine grandchilden and 12 great grandchildren and a brother, James Rosenbaum of nashville, AR.
