Bill Sears, 47, 1251 N. 13th St., Rogers, died Nov. 22 at his home. Born Sept. 4, 1930, at Cave Springs, he was the son of Oscar and Lillian Devers Sears and a member of Open Door Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Signal Delivery Co. and a member of Teamsters Local Union 41.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Merl Dargay Sears of the home; three sons, James David Sears, Richard Lynn Sears and Samuel Arthur Sears, Rogers; two daughters, Katherine Virginia Sears and Debra Kay Sears of the home; four stepsons, Charles Wayne Byler, Amarillo, Tex., Larry Allen Byler, Johnny Lee Byler and J.C. Byler, Rogers; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Judy Marie Casey, Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Jo Ann Rife, Harrison; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Callison Funeral Home, Rogers, with the Rev. Rex Easterling officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery near Cave Springs under the direction of Callison.
