Services for Richie James Baker, 18, a former resident of Norfork, are scheduled for 2PM today (Thursday) at Norfork School gymnasium. Bro. Donnie D. Robinson will officiate, and pallbearers will include Jerry Skidmore, Lance Southard, Gary Reak, Willis Teegarden, Jamie Baker and Brad Southard. Rex Vanrhuden, Marty Southard and Frank Tilley will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Burial will be in the Galatia Cemtery, east of Norfork, with the Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation at the Roller Chapel was to be from 5 to 9PM Wednesday.
Mr. Baker was born at Norfork April 1, 1963, and worked at the Wal-Mart store in Mt. Home before moving to Fort Scott, KS, 1 1/2 years ago. He was Catholic.
Survivors include his father Richard S. Baker, and a brother, Johnny Baker, both of Ft. Scott; and his paternal grandpanrents, James and Mary Baker of Norfork. A sister Brenda Parnell is deceased.
