Died January 13, 1987, Salem, Fulton County, Arkansas.
Son of James Alexander Arnold and Lucinda Catherine "Lucy" Griffin Arnold.
Married Thelma L. Berry on June 12, 1926, at Chesmond, Arkansas.

Griffin A. Arnold, 86, of Salem died Jan 13, at
Fulton County Hospital. He was a retired farmer and attended the Methodist Chruch.
Born Dec 24, 1900, at Iuka, he was the son of Lucy Griffin Arnold and James Alexander Arnold. He and the former Thelman Berry were married June 12, 1926. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son, Glenn, an infant daughter and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Carl B. Arnold of Salem and Jack Arnold of Mt. Home; two daughters, Robbie May of Mt. Home and Helen Fitzpatrick of Oxford; four sisters, May King of California, Willie Dwelle of Old Joe, Mertie Harris of Batesville, and Bonnie Weaver Willams of Guion; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday at the Galatia Church near Norfork with the Rev. Neil Hudson officiating.
Pallbearers were Gerald Arnold, Kent Arnold, Dal Arnold, Griffin Arnold II, Medford Carl Arnold, Jeffery Arnold, Ed Fitzpatrick, Keith Fitzpatrick, Susan May and Cindy Arnold. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery.
Arrangemnts were handled by Salem Funeral Service, Inc.
