HAMILTON, Dorcas A. - Miss Dorcas A. Hamilton died at the home of her sister, Mrs. J.P. Evans near Vaughn October 31 at the age of 75 years. Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Evans, the Rev. F.A. Bradshaw officiating. Miss Hamilton was born April 25, 1853 in Hempstead county, Arkansas. She was one of a large family of children, but two surviving; a brother, John Hamilton of Hartford, Ark. and a sister, Mrs. J.P. Evans, with whom she has made her home. She was converted quite young and joined the Baptist church. Her life was exemplified by her patience and her love for her God, her friends and her relatives.
