Clarence Edward Wilbur, age 71, of Norfork died Saturday in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at 3:30PM at the Burnt Schoolhouse, with Bro. Arthur Davis officiating.
Mr. Wilbur, a retired farmer, was born on November 1, 1887, at Lone Rock and was a life long resident of the county. His parents were the late William Wilbur and Bell Stewart Wilbur. He had been a member of the Church of Christ for 22 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Wilbur of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Artha Wilson of Yellville; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Wilbur of Norfork and Ira Wilbur of Tennessee, and a half brother, Joe Wilbur of Ohio. A son preceded him in death in 1913.
Interment was in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery, with Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were, Ed Simpson, Zion Small, Rudolf Torrance, Leon Boyd, Tom Southard and F.L. Harvey.
