son of Edgar William Borden SR. and Mattie Mirie Mcgee Borden. survived by his wife Geraldine Martin Borden. of Colt AR. four brothers J.C.Borden of Colt AR. Leonard Victor Borden. of Russellville AR. John Lawrence Borden. of Jonesboro AR. and James Walter Borden. of Colt AR. and a sister Jewel Borden Baskins. he was preceded in death by two brothers George Lee Borden. and Edgar William Borden JR. and a sister Elizabeth Borden Milton. he lived in St Francis County for most of his life and was a graduate of Forrest CITY high school he was a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church.
