In all of the family histories, this lady is referred to as Rosa Lee; however, her name is inscribed as Rose L. on the Noe family memorial.
In the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers relocation schedule for the Noe Cemetery, there is a footnote as follows: "NAME SHOWN HERE AS ON FAMILY MON. IS SAME PERSON REFERRED TO ELSEWHERE AS ROSE L. NOE-PLUMLEE." Obviously, following the death of her first husband, Rosa Lee Milburn Noe married a Mr. Plumlee. The Baxter County marriage records shows that John Plumlee married Mrs. Rosa Noe on January 14, 1896.
