Gene Roberts, 49, of Swifton, died Tuesday. He was born June 15, 1958, at Newport, the son of Charles and Barbara Roberts.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Porter Roberts; parents, Charles Lee and Barbara Ann Smothers Roberts of Tuckerman; aunts and uncles, Dean Smothers, L.C., Bobby and Bill Roberts, Shirley Campbell and Patricia McKenny; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Swifton Church of Christ with interment in Calvin Cemetery.
Arrangements by Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.
