Charles Hull Luther was born in Mt. Home on April 21, 1887, and died at the Veterans' Hospital at Poplar Bluff, MO, on Saturday, May 21, at the age of 68 years.
He was a lifetime resident of Baxter County, a veteran of World War I and a member of the Church of Christ since the age of 17.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Opal Luther; two sons, Robert of Norfork and Charles Hull, Jr. of Wichita, KS; two daughters, Mrs. LaVerne McVey of Norfork and Mrs. Katherine Bittick of Wichita, KS; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Martin of Fort Worth, TX and Miss Fannie Luther of Norfork; one brother, Oscar of Broken Arrow, OK; three grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at the Church of Christ in Norfork with Rev Ford and Rev Jack Hobby officiating. Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
