Donnie Ray Evans, 60 of Hampton died Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home. He was born January 30, 1957 in Hampton, Arkansas. He was member and deacon of Woodberry Baptist Church. He had been a member of the Woodberry church for forty two years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Erma Jean Watson Evans. He is survived by his wife, Candy Evans of Hampton; one son, Brandon (Krystal) Evans of Hampton; one daughter, Faith (Aaron) Stewart of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren, Jackson Stewart of Memphis, TN, Ashton Stewart of Memphis, Paisley Evans of Hampton, Ainsley Stewart of Memphis, TN, and Reid Evans of Hampton. Memorials may be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Road El Dorado, AR 71730. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Woodberry Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Duncan and Rev. Brandon Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Evans Cemetery.
