Felton Billings, 51, of Kansas City, Mo., died Monday in a Kansas City hospital. Funeral services will be held today at the Church of God in Christ in Strong at 1 p.m. with the Elder H. L. Butts officiating. Burial will be held in Batts Chapel Cemetery at Huttig under the direction of Union Funeral Home of Farmerville, La. Mr. Billings was born Oct. 30, 1923, and was the son of Mary L. and Eddie Billings. He was a member of Galation Baptist Church of Kansas City and Amos Johnson Lodge No. 148. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Patsy Durr of Orlgen, Kan.; one son, Ronnie Billings of Kansas City; one step son Donald Andrews of Kansas City; his mother of Huttig; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Fefe and Mrs. Mattie Yarbrough, both of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Freddie Thomas and Mrs. Katie Jefferson, both of Huttig; three brothers, L. C. Billings and Scott Billings of Huttig, and Homer Billings of Milwaukee, Wisc. (El Dorado News-Times - July 20, 1974)
