FAYETTEVILLE -- Ahmad Noorbakhsh, 84, of Fayetteville died April 7, 1995, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born March 11, 1911, in Tehran, Iran, to Baha-e-din and Alavieh Noorbakhsh. He was an investment officer of the Bank Sader in Tehran for 30 years, retiring in 1976. He later moved to the United States.
Survivors include his wife, Eshrat Noorbakhsh of the home; two sons, Sid Norbaskhsh of Fayetteville and Sirous Nourbah of Lawrence, Kan.; one daughter, Sima Noorbakhsh of the home; one sister, Nosrat Noorbakhsh of Fayetteville; one brother, Abolfazl Noorbakhsh of Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren, Elham Nourbakhsh Ansari of Knoxville, Tenn., Ali Norbash of Lawrence, and Kayla and Kelsey Norbash of Fayetteville.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Gary Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will not be present.
