Billy Eugene Boyd Sr., 68, of Hackett, Arkansas, entered into rest on Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Fort Smith.
He was born September 26,1944 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the son of the late Theodore and Gladys Boyd.

He was self employed, was former owner of Bailey's Bait and Tackle, H and B Convenience Store in Hackett, AR and B & D One Stop, a member of N.R.A and B.A.S.S. Club and the Hackett First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his son in law, Chester Johnson.

Survivors include three daughters, Amber Tuck and husband Carl of Alma, AR, Melissa Railey and husband Dennis of Fort Smith and Laura Johnson of Hackett, son, Billy Boyd Jr., and wife Rebecca of Fort Smith, three sisters, Jean Jones Collier of Fort Smith, Sue Reed and husband Larry of Fort Smith, Shirley Avey and husband John of Mulberry, AR, sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and the mothers of his children, Cheryl Cook and Danette Moorman.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith with interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Smith.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Fisher, Andy O'Bar, Jeff Harper, Ronnie Richardson,Melvin Chaffin and Jim Avey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Short, Dennis Lasiter and Ed Craig.
