Damon Bercher, 71, of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in Fort Smith.
He was born March 15, 1932, in Fort Smith to the late Herbert and Lottie Bercher.
He was a retired brick mason and was retired from Rheem Air Conditioning Division. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Bercher.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tashala Devrow officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Bercher of Fort Smith; one grandson, Gabriel Bercher and his wife Elizabeth of Van Buren; two great-grandchildren, Jaiden and Ariah Bercher; and his special friend/companion, Cathalene Mosby of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Don, Donnie, Ronnie and Gabriel Bercher, Mark Maxwell and Forest Caple.
