Monday, February 8, 1965
Elmer Clinton Chidester, 77, died Saturday in the Springdale hospital. He was born April 8, 1887 in Washington County the son of Albert and Mary Crow Chidester and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include the widow, Avis the home; one son, Homer of Riverside, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Glen Hughes and Mrs. Bennett Rainwater both of Riverside, Calif., one step-daughter, Mrs. Howard Ingram of Lowell; three brothers, Rolla and Hosea of Pryor, Okla. and Earl of Frankfort, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel; burial in Round Mountain Cemetery.
