Felix Harrison Wright, III passed away November, 28, 2017. He was born May 28, 1951 to Emma J. Cravens Cole and Phelix H. Wright, Jr. in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Felix was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Felix H. Wright, IV; brother, Cedric C. Marable, Sr.; and sister, Linda Faye Wright Hogue.
Survivors: wife, Gloria Mays Wright of Fort Smith, AR; four daughters, Erika Jernigan (Julian) of Oklahoma City, OK, Meka Wright Rice of Fort Smith, AR, Janaia Wright Walker (Derrick) of Fort Smith, AR, and Ariana Wright Dorsett (James) of Muldrow, OK; four brothers, Jimmy Collier (Kathy), Harry Wright, Dwindle Wright (Rose) and Kenneth Simpson (Camelia); sister, Helen Norwood (Ralph); one special sister, Marilyn Stratford; twenty grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Felix devoted his life to Christ at an early age and united with Quinn Chapel AME church. He received his education in Fort Smith Public Schools and went on to attend college in Hot Springs. Felix was a very hard worker. He worked for Experian Security Company for over fifteen years. He was kind to everyone he met. He loved joking and making people laugh. Felix gave everyone he met their very own nickname. He will be missed.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:0 P.M. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 4503 Young St., Fort Smith, AR. Burial Washington Cemetery, Fort Smith.
