Samuel Daniel Willis, Sr. was the son of Anderson Charles and Beulah Willis. He was married to Willie Mae Flurry. He was a member of King Solomon Baptist Church where he was a deacon for 25 years and also Chairman Emeritus. He retired from the Broadway Grill where he served as Catering Manager. He was Founder and past president of the Roundtable Club. and Member of Goodwill Lodge #120.
